Founder Sanela Sehovac knows this landscape intimately. Originally from Montenegro, she settled in Kelowna in 2003 and quickly fell in love with the scenery, the people, and the flourishing wine culture. “Every day, I am reminded of how lucky I am to call Kelowna and the Okanagan my home,” she shares. Inspired by her Balkan roots and her background in hospitality, she built Carpe Diem Tours to reflect that same sense of wonder for every guest.
For Sanela, the wine industry is about more than the glass—it is about the people, the ambiance, and the connection. “It was the social aspect, the sophistication, and the flavours that drew me in every day,” she reflects. That passion shines through in every tour, whether it is a leisurely afternoon of tastings in Lake Country or a vineyard lunch overlooking the panoramic views of West Kelowna.
